Here’s a flamenco step (a tangos remate) with abanico.
Add it to a dance, or use it as an exercise to work on:
* Contratiempo
* Opening the abanico
* Coordination
* Strengthening your rhythm
This step is all about making rhythms with the upper body, and there are only two foot moves:
Step out with your right foot on the count of 1️⃣.
Place your right foot in front on the counter of 6️⃣.

The counts:
𝟭 Step to the side w/right foot.
& Tap fan on hand.
𝟮 Tap fan on right shoulder.
& Tap fan on left shoulder.
𝟯 Tap fan on right thigh.
𝟰 Tap fan on left thigh.
𝟱 🚫
𝟲 Flick open fan & grab skirt bringing the left hand to the waist. Place right foot in front.
𝟳 Raise arm above head while rotating fan. Turn head to left.
A Note:
You could easily do this move without abanico doing slaps and claps with your hands instead.
At the end you would just rotate and flip your hand without the abanico.
