Could you incorporate the flamenco step below into a dance?
Use this tangos footwork pattern to:
✨Strengthen your contratiempo
✨Work your golpes and tacónes
✨Practice coordinating palmas with footwork
Or add it (or part of it) to one of your flamenco dance choreographies.
Ready to learn the step?
1. Watch the video tutorial to learn the footwork pattern.
2. Next, bring your speed down, and add palmas on the primary counts only.
(In this case first just on the 1 and 5 gradually adding more palmas until you are clapping on each beat.)
3. Practice slowly for as long as you need to.
4. Gradually bring up the speed.
