For students who have prior experience playing castanets and understand the basics already.

Castanet Technique:

  • Strengthen & train the fingers

  • Coordinate castanets sounds with arm & body movement

  • Coordinate castanets sounds with footwork

Choreography:

Put the sounds and body movements together with steps to form a choreography.

What if I don't have castanets? No problem. We have some for loan or can recommend where to buy online. (If you need to borrow castanets for the workshop, please let us know in advance.)

What if I have no castanets experience? This workshop assumes you already know the basic toques. If you are unsure of your level, please contact us.
