*While researching to verify that this were a traditional verse, I came across this book published in 1922. I’m very excited about it as it has a handful of verses in Spanish with English translations. While most of the songs are unfortunately displayed in English alone, the author does offer a lot of information about the poetic forms. You can access the full book in electronic form here for free, or you can get a paper copy here.
I read the author, Salvador de Madariaga’s, translation and couldn’t imagine coming up with a better one myself, so I used his.
