Let's Go To The River | The Weekly Letra
Sticking with our bulerías theme, here’s a coletilla for you and a video that I took of Concha Jareño at Casa Patas in Madrid a couple of years ago.
You’re going to love it…

I can’t stop watching this video.
It makes me feel so happy.
It reminds me of a wonderful night watching this show with Ricardo and my friends from home Katie and Rod at Casa Patas in Madrid a few years ago.
Aaaaaaand, it gets me insanely excited about studying with Concha on the Flamenco Tour to Madrid in a few months. I cannot wait to be in a small supportive group dancing flamenco with this amazing woman.
The Bulerías Challenge
Have you been joining me in practicing dancing bulerias to the cante?
I put out my plan on my blog which is to practice dancing bulerías with cante for five minutes a day five days a week for a month. This can be to a video or audio, or, best case scenario, live, but really any bulerías where there’s singing.
I’ve been noting it in my calendar & reporting back here (and sometimes on Instagram and Facebook) for accountability.
BTW, I’ve been sticking to the five days a week for five minutes a day, and that feels great.
It’s not too late to join me, and you can use this very clip to do so!
While it is short it offers a good opportunity to practice dancing various endings with the coletilla.
I dare you to try it out and let me know how it goes below.
*Thank you, Concha, for helping me with the words. (I couldn’t tell what the last line was, as often is the case.)
